This confirms our pioneering role in transport ecology and represents another step forward and another success for the «Eco Balance by CAMION TRANSPORT» programme.
Europe's EN 16258 standard, which recently went into effect, describes the methodology for the calculation and declaration of energy consumption and greenhouse emissions for all modes of transport and different user groups. It also defines standards and requirements for the declaration of the calculated results. The calculation and declaration of the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions arising from transport services have thus been standardised for the first time ever.
CT has achieved another milestone with the certification and set new benchmarks in the field of eco-friendly transport in Switzerland.
