Switzerland’s longest and toughest obstacle course took place for the ninth time in Engelberg on June 2nd, 2018. The cross-country obstacle course consisted of two 9-kilometer laps through Klosterdorf with 46 obstacles to overcome along the way.
Of the more than 7000 runners who took part, 76 dared to tackle the ultra distance. The ultra distance was offered this year for the very first time to mark the 40th anniversary of Fisherman’s Friend Switzerland.
Even before taking on the regular obstacle course, the ultra runners first covered the 22 km-long route from Buochs to Engelberg. «Kudos!» for such a great performance.
Camion Transport also made an extensive and valuable contribution to the logistics for this spectacular event. As sponsor, we also conducted material transports this year and provided one of the obstacles in the form of one of our trailers.
