Under the project name ColisExpress, we separate small packages from general cargo with the aim of a more efficient ecological delivery. During this project, an innovation in Switzerland is used for load securing.
The new vans for the ColiExpress distribution are fitted with this new type of load securing. The built-in load securing net automatically secures the cargo against slipping and falling.
When loading or unloading the cargo, the net is lifted to the ceiling. The vehicle can be loaded normally in this time. Before continuing the journey, the net comes down at the push of a button and stretches across the cargo.
