Senegal is a country that is full of colour and hustle and bustle – and this is reflected in the houses, towels and clothing all around the country. Colours are used to show tradition and a zest for life. The aid organisation World Wide Watch wants to use this idea to improve everyday life for children in West Africa.
The colour specialist KABE Farben, based in Gossau, has provided almost ten tons of material that can be used by educational institutions and orphanages to give their facilities a fresh lick of paint. CAMION TRANSPORT is thrilled to be able to contribute something to the social commitment of its partner. We transported the donations through Switzerland and delivered them to World Wide Watch, which is based in Geneva.
Soon the children will be able to enjoy freshly painted schoolrooms and facades – in bright colours of course!
