On 29 January 2019, the career choice course of Rümlang-Oberglatt Secondary School took place at CAMION TRANSPORT Rümlang. On this day, interested students could register with various companies in the region to take a closer look at the range of careers on offer. CAMION TRANSPORT also wanted to use this brilliant occasion to present itself and to advertise our industry.
In a time frame of approximately two hours, we presented the occupations of Road haulage specialist EFZ, Road haulage practitioner EBA and Logistician EFZ. After a brief company presentation and presentation of the individual apprenticeships, we moved on to the practical section. In the practical section, the potential road transport experts got to know the truck better, having the opportunity to sit in the driving cab and move the vehicle forwards and backwards. The whole thing was done under expert guidance, with a vehicle equipped with double pedals so that it would have been possible to intervene in precarious situations.
The potential logisticians were divided into two groups. One group repacked drink pallets professionally. The other group had the chance to carry out a round with a pallet jack without touching the crates. The aim was also for the drinks bottles to be standing on the pallet at the end of the round as at the beginning.
It was a successful occasion on which the talented young people received deeper insight into the apprenticeships at CAMION TRANSPORT.
