Junior Driver, Cat. C/CE – we are starting the second round

Reorientation? Re-entry? Just dare to do something new? Or you don't know what's next for you after recruit school? We create career prospects for you. The tried and tested «Junior Driver» course will start its second round this year on 1 September 2022. We are very pleased about that. Because we are highly motivated to accompany interested people into the exciting world of transport.

Who is this secondary training programme aimed at? We are primarily looking for career changers who have completed an apprenticeship and have a category B driving licence.

The training is part-time and is offered in German-speaking Switzerland. It lasts nine months and includes 19 days of theoretical training. The decisive component is the admission as a category C driver; this with full pay, optionally at one of our locations in Switzerland. Based on many years of experience as one of the leading Swiss transport and logistics companies, the trainees benefit from a high level of practical relevance thanks to in-house instructors.

  • 2007: first «Junior Driver» course
  • 2009: CAMION TRANSPORT (CT) is recognised as a training and further education centre (asa)
  • 2019: first «Junior Driver Crane» course, more about this here
  • Ø 50 applications
  • Ø 10–15 trained chauffeurs per year
  • Start of training course: 1 January and 1 September

Good to know:

  • The course can also be completed without a permanent position at CAMION TRANSPORT. The course is also open to our employees.
