Something that remains in the conceptual phase in some towns and cities in Switzerland is already «daily business» on the Vaud Riviera.

Here in Vevey, deliveries that weigh up to 30 kg are collected at a logistics hub before being delivered by bicycle courier on cargo bikes for their final mile. This is of significant relief to built-up areas. And we are key players here, not bystanders.

This logistics infrastructure has been created on our initiative and in close collaboration with Vélocité Riviera. Together, we have adapted our traditional approach slightly and combined our strengths. In December 2021, we were able to look back on a partnership lasting two successful years – and our wheels quite literally keep turning.

All in all, a win for the environment, and thanks to our partner, a plus point in terms of our time management.
