The Cyclo-cross World Championships took place over the weekend of 1 and 2 February 2020. A 3.2 km-long course with barricades and bridges was set up on the Dübendorf airfield for the event. Across a total of six competitions, the world’s best cyclo-cross riders brought us an exciting race. We are delighted with the excellent results that the Swiss team, competing at home, achieved and with Kevin Kuhn in particular, winner of the silver medal in the Men’s U23 race.
It wasn’t just the races that kept our attention. The weather, too, played its part in making the weekend one that we’ll look back on with a smile. A mild Saturday was followed by a rainy Sunday – proper cyclo-cross weather.
We were there as sponsors, amongst other things providing the transport of the crowd control barriers. And a lot of them were needed too, to secure a route that was over 3 km long. Of course, we were not only there to haul metal, but as excited fans too. A few of CAMION TRANSPORT Rümlang’s customers were lucky enough to be invited to the event as our VIP guests.
