Visit to the farm

On 29th May, the St. Gallen Cantonal Wrestling Festival is taking place in Wil. As the sponsor of the stud bull and as a logistics partner, we will be there with all of our enthusiasm. After the winning stud, Camino, and Josef Jäger got along so well at the stud’s baptism in mid-November, Josef didn’t miss the opportunity to drop by at the farm of cattle breeder Peter Truniger before the start of the Wrestling Festival.

The stud has developed magnificently. The cute young animal has grown into a handsome bull. At the beginning of April, he weighed just under 750 kg, and by the end of May, he will break the 800 kg mark. And he has clearly built up a lot of muscle. Josef confirms: «It is plain to see that he’s in great shape and is an impressive animal with a very nice coat.»

Camino is already a father of four, and the calves are living on the farm of a farmer friend. The stud has also been busy in his own barn: some 30 cows are now pregnant, and the first calf is due to arrive before the Wrestling Festival.

And Camino also has regular hairdressing appointments to keep him looking chic. As Peter explains, «My two sons and a friend regularly help me to give Camino a makeover from head to toe.»

At the end of his visit, Josef presented Peter and Camino with a name-and-number plate. This makes Camino an official honorary member of the CT family.
