We all remember when we suddenly found ourselves confronted with career choices in secondary school. Although much information can be found on the internet today, personal contact is still very valuable in finding an apprenticeship.
In addition to the «small» local trade fairs, this year we were also present at the three largest Swiss professional fairs. BAM (Bern), Zebi (Lucerne) and the Zurich Professional Trade Fair attracted over 100,000 visitors to the exhibition halls across a total of 14 days. In a competition, around 650 young people tried to snap up AirPods, powerbanks or model lorries.
We are all the more pleased that many exciting discussions have been held despite, and at the same time thanks to, the attractive chances of winning. There is genuine interest in professions in our industry. The tricky thing is to «grab» these interested parties and get them on board.
Many thanks to our booth staff, whether learners or long-term employees. No question remained unanswered; pupils, teachers and parents are convinced by us.
