Our innovative vehicle fleet is growing. The first eActros has now entered trailer operations in Switzerland. Three lithium-ion batteries help the eActros achieve a range of up to 300 kilometres. It features a box body with a lifting platform, as well as a 2-axle trailer (18 tonnes) including a through-loading system. Above all else, this system creates efficiency when loading and unloading the HGV. A total battery capacity of 336 kWh, a useful load of approx. 22 tonnes, and a permitted overall weight including trailer of 40 tonnes – such is the performance potential.
The vehicle has two so-called heat exchangers. The double cooling system optimises the oil temperature in the circuit, and ensures a flawless interaction with the transmission circuit. These cool the system down, which quickly becomes hot at high gradients.
