Since today, 28 January 2021 the first commercial hydrogen filling station in the canton of Zurich is in operation. The location and timing are perfect for us. The AVIA filling station is in the area of our subsidiary LARAG AG in Rümlang. Right next to our branch on Wibachstrasse 15.
End of February 2021, the second Hyundai Xcient with fuel cell drive will join our fleet of vehicles and will be stationed in Rümlang. By opening this filling station, the most important Swiss economic axis East – West will be opened up even further. For us this means very concretely: very short routes to hydrogen refuelling, and therefore time saving and easier planning.
As a member of the friend’s association H2 Mobility Switzerland, we are convinced that hydrogen is the energy source for the mobility of the future. We and the AVIA association are delighted about this further important puzzle piece in the construction of a network of hydrogen filling stations throughout Switzerland.
