Since the beginning of the year, membership in the «we go green!» initiative, alongside our «Eco Balance by CAMION TRANSPORT» sustainability programme, has strengthened our commitment to the environment.

For the initiative, ASTAG is acting in accordance with the Paris Agreement and the Federal Council’s climate strategy. We make the following contribution with «we go green!»:

• Commitment to «green logistics» for the benefit of the environment and climate
• Adoption of the ASTAG CO₂ reduction recommendations
• Transparent declaration of measures
• Contribution to reduction of CO₂ emissions in the industry
• Promotion of the image of the industry

Alternative drive systems in our vehicle fleet, fuel monitoring, optimised route planning, a dual road/rail transport concept, internal courses on optimal driving behaviour, and power production using our own photovoltaic system are just a few of our measures for the most climate-friendly shipments possible.

One of our success stories? Our innovation fleet; true to the motto of «learning by driving». We use a variety of commercial vehicles with alternative drive systems in our day-to-day business within an overall strategy. Our goal: The basis for decision-making for the «green procurement plan» should be established by the end of 2023. Read more about it here.
